  • The InterHerd+ program supports farmers and advisers on day to day livestock management and analysis.
  • The InterTrace+ program is designed for large livestock populations ranging from national animal identification and registration(I&R) with livestock movement and traceability through to projects managing large scale vaccination, artificial insemination (AI) and disease surveillance schemes.

Both programs use a common database, the Livestock Database. This means the extensive functionality developed for both programs is available so offering great flexibility and speed for new application development.

The InterHerd+ Program

A comprehensive herd management package that records to the level of detail appropriate to your management and reporting needs. InterHerd+ combines farm recorded data with results downloaded from milk recording organisations, laboratories and other external data sources.

In the United Kingdom, InterHerd+ downloads milk recording and disease test data from the two milk recording organisations (NMR and CIS) giving potential access to thousands of herds. As well as automatically updating the data record, this is used by private vets and nutritionists to analyse performance within and across their client base.

 

The InterTrace+ Program

A database system managing the complex information needs of large animal populations, single or multiple species. Users range from government animal health services, to regulators, milk recording organisations, breed societies, retailers and producers.
InterTrace+ complies with current EU legislation on animal traceability, food safety, animal health, animal welfare and environmental standards on animal populations.

  • Multi-species animal identification and registration (I&R) with full traceability of animals and their products within or between countries, compliant with EU legislation.
  • Registration of holdings and keepers for all livestock species.
  • Recording and management of animal movements.
