Nicholas Taylor BSc BVSc MSc DipECVPH MRCVS, Veterinary epidemiologist

Nick Taylor is a veterinarian with extensive expertise in the combination of veterinary epidemiology, disease control, risk analysis, animal health economics and statistical analysis. He has worked in UK, Africa, Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, contributing to capacity building, epidemiological analysis and disease control strategy formulation at field project, national and international level.

Mr. Taylor has worked on numerous research projects relating to biosecurity and disease control issues. In recent years he has worked with livestock economists developing an approach to disease risk analysis within livestock value chains.

He is a member of faculty in the Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics Research Unit (VEERU) of The University of Reading. In 2004, he became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Public Health in recognition of continuous practical working in the field of population medicine.
